Tru di lersc: The larch forest trail

A beautiful adventure and nature path through larch forests and dreamy alpine meadows with interesting insights into the world of flora, fauna and geology of the area and views of the local Dolomite peaks. Highlight: the restored water mill at the Rudiferiahof.

A natural spectacle: From Santa Croce to the snow cave
10.3 km | 775 metres in altitude | 3.5 h | Easy
An idyllic image for eternity: in the spring-like Armentara meadows, globe flowers, alpine anemones and broadleaf gentian swaying in the wind. Behind them: the small pilgrim church La Crus / Santa Croce with the enormous & vertically rising walls of the Kreuzkofel. Another highlight: in summer you can marvel at the snow cave – which was created by a small stream.

A small oasis of joy: Valparolaalm
6.1 km | 545 metres in altitude | 2.5 h | Easy
Once iron ore was melted here and turned into raw iron. But there is nothing to remind you of that here today, quite the opposite: after a hike with wonderful views you will find here an alpine pasture with goats, horses, chickens, pigs and cows just like you see in the picture books. Highlight: Alpine huts that offer cheese, bread, ham and curd cheese from in-house production.

If you want to go on one of our guided hikes, please let us know by 6 pm the day before.
Health takes priority
For the safety of the entire group, please let us know before the hike starts if you have any health conditions.
C like Condition
Objectively assess your condition and select an appropriate tour. We are happy to advise you.
Sturdy shoes
Pay attention to the right equipment, and especially sturdy shoes. The right hiking shoes give you support and protect your joints. Tip: hiking sticks make going up and down easier.
The right clothing
Wear light-weight, breathable clothing, also think about bringing extra clothes with you. You should also put clothes to protect you against the cold and rain in your rucksack – the weather in the mountains can change quickly.
